Nearly 1,000 community members donated to more than 40 arts groups in the tri-county area - including Heal With HeARTS - as part of Charleston Regional Alliance for the Arts' annual Arts Matter Day.
If that isn't impressive enough, the Alliance for the Arts matched the donated funds dollar for dollar, doubling the size of the contributions.
Held on October 10 of this year, Arts Matter Day is organized by the Alliance to inspire community given in support of non-profit arts organizations in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.
Heal With HeARTS would like to thank all of the donors who participated in this year's event. Thank you toMike Gibbons, Elise Hussey, and Ellie Tiller for all the work that they do to make Arts Matter Day happen, and to the Charleston Regional Alliance for the Arts for the matching incentive funds.
